I happen to know the owner of this cafe but even if I didn't, I'd still give it 5 stars. The place is quite small but the white seating helps to make the place feel bright and airy regardless. A shining light that is open all hours. The menu is quite extensive, offering mostly Chinese but also some Thai options. There is plenty for vegetarians, as well as meat eaters and the prices are all really reasonable. The dishes come in generous servings and the food is absolutely delicious. I had vegetable spring rolls and a Thai vegetable curry, but my friends had meat and noodle soup options and were just as impressed as me. And the soup bowls were enormous! The service is really friendly - even if you don't know the owner - and quick too. The staff are only too happy to advise on your menu choice or help in any way they can - and they have Chinese beer on tap! Highly recommended for lunch, dinner, pre and post theatre....anytime!

I have been here a few times with my work collegues, great chinese place to eat in or takeaway.. with large amounts of food for a great price between £3.80 - £5.50 ive only ever had the special fried rice and sweet and sour chicken catonise style but it was fab!! and was only £3.80! They have an open air kitchen so you can see the cheif cooking your food which is always nice, and if you decide to sit in and eat its a very comfortable seating area with white and pink deco!!

My collegues and I have been searching for a great chinese takeaway for lunch and we finally found one which gives great customer service, the food tastes really nice and for a reasonable price of £3.80. I recommend their special friend rice and sweet and sour chicken (catonise style). They also give you salad with the meal which is new to me. I have never had chinese and salad on the side. Believe it or not it actually goes well together.
